Deleted threads still show up in New Posts

A quick suggestion: when a spam thread is deleted, can it be deleted from the New Posts page as well? New Posts currently has links to non-existent advertisements for unlocked cell phones.

And I REALLY need an unlocked cell phone, so it's annoying.

How did I not see this one? OK... here's the scoop. When a spam thread is deleted, you can delete all posts and ban the user as well. You choose the message and then select "delete as spam" and then you're given a whole bunch of options. Makes it SO much easier to get rid of the spam and the spammer all in one easy shot.

Regarding unlocked cells... why can't you unlock yours? If it's GSM you should be able to get codes... especially if you tell your carrier you're traveling internationally.

LOL... this is what happens when you're in the mobile phone industry for a long time... you hear about unlocking and you're totally sympathetic!

LOL this is also what happens when you use sarcasm on message boards.

After years using unlocked phones on my GSM provider, I switched to Telus (a CDMA network here in Canada). Better rate plans, but I'm tied to their equipment. Not sure I like the trade.
