Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Delinquency to minor

hello im 19 and about a month ago i had a going away party and the cops ended up coming. there were minors so the officers charged with delinquency to minor. i was not arrested but now i have a court date. I have nothing on my record or have ever gotten in trouble with something serious.

i was wondering if anyone has had to deal with something familiar or if they have any advice about what i should say at court. i called my county's clerk and said i should be fine maybe a little fine or community service but who know's?

i cant afford a lawyer so im getting a public attorney. anyone have any advice about what i should say? should i plead quilty, not quilty or no contest?

You should get your attorney's advice but I don't think you are guilty of anything simply because you ATTENDED a party where minors were. You would have had to bring alcohol or have planned the party or contributed something material to their delinquency.
