hi,

I worked for a great business, hired for a lead role through a series of strenuous interviews, all went well for 2 years until a change of director and a new boss came in, I was called into a meeting with the new director and ceo, and told i did not have the necessary i.t skills required for the role( never given any support or indication) and offered a minor role with same wage and benefits but without the responsibility. The boss then went and hired a personal friend of his in the role which was mine (just a slightly different title). There have been numerous incidents I have logged until yesterday I was called into a 1-1 meeting with my boss over a tweet ( which head of health and safety has assured me was fine), during this meeting I was verbally sworn at and told I dont need a +++++++ van driver and really shouted down after giving an opinion. This has now been on going for over a year!! Views?

You have indicated that you are in Europe and your IP address suggests that you are in the UK. Please be advised that employment law in the US and in the UK are NOT the same and we have no experts on UK law here. In the US what you have posted, based on your description, would be legal and would not provide you with any kind of legal recourse. YMMV. You need a UK law forum. I don't know anything about this one but I found it on Google.
