Denied Unemployment

I was employed with the same company for the last 3 years and recently quit becuase I was cursed at and yelled out on a daily basis for things that had nothing to do with me or my job performance from the owner. I have a couple of previous employees that have witness this and are willing to testify if needed. I also have a very vulger text message sent from the owner to my cell phone. This one was the only one I kept. I was recently denied unemployment benefits becuase they felt I did not have a good reason to quit. There is more to this story but would like to know if anyone could guide me as to wheather or not I should follow through with an appeal for my unemployment.

Absolutely appeal.

You never know...the next hearing officer may look at it differently.

There is no penalty for appealing, even if you lose appeal. Therefore you have nothing to lose and benefits to gain. Yes appeal!

It costs nothing to appeal; however, be aware that it is VERY difficult to get UI when you quit.
