I filled out an application and was approved for an apartment on 9/28/08. I was told I would be able to move in on 11/01/08. On 10/26/08 I put down the deposit and when asked If I could go ahead and sign the lease I was told the leasing agent was not in. I tried calling numerous times over the next few days and finally got a hold of the leasing agent they informed me that my apartment was not ready and it would only be two more weeks. Two more weeks went by and still no call. I called back and the leasing agent said she would look into it and return my call. She never called back so I called her back a week later and all of a sudden she tells me I'm 4th on a waiting list. It is now 12/5/08 and still no apartment. I called yesterday and I'm still 4th on a waiting list. I have found another apartment complex that I can move into immediately. Should the original complex refund my deposit I still have the receipt and never even got to sign a lease.
