Hello all,
I am going through with really tough time right now and I am desperately looking for help if anyone can please help me out with my matter.
This was in Virginia and I was found guilty in a shoplifting case back in 2007 and was charged with Case Type: Felony, Amended Case Type: Misdemeanor, and Class: O. At that time I was asked by the judge if instead of going into jail, rather I would like to do community service. I chose to do community service and I was even on a probation period. After completing my community hours as requested by the judge, and without having any other single criminal record, I maintained my good moral character and It's been like that since 2007. It's been seven years now. In my record, the Probation Time is now set to 00Years 00Months 000Days, but my Sentence Time is set to 12Months 000Days and Sentence Suspended Time is set to: 12Months 000Days...even today.
Am I eligible to have a US Citizenship?
I tried to apply for the US Citizenship through lawyer, and eveything was going very smoothly. However, when one of the lawyer assistant studied my case, I was told that there's high amount of risk that USCIS may deny my citizenship and even deport me from USA.
Now I am not really sure what I should do, can anyone please help me out in this matter? I am really stressed right now. I would really appreciate all the help that I can get.
