Im a little confused about what happened at work. One thing is I was accused of sweet hearting to a customer at work. I was working on the register one day and all of a sudden my store manager which by the way was fired shortly after I was fired. He comes walking up screaming and yelling making a scene in front of the customers accusing me of not ringing up all the customers item. He didnt even let me ask questions or say anything in my defense, He just told me to go to the breakroom and wait for him. So I did and he comes walking up telling me to clock out and go home because he didnt want anyone working for him that steals I took that as him firing me. So I went home and called him shortly after and he accused me of having a crack pipe in the womens bathroom. I cant believe he was a accusing me of this also. Especially when he has told me in the past and this was before i had even starting working there that he had found employees in the act of smoking crack or whatever the drug was. And told me that he took the pipe and broke them and told them to get back to work. And also he has found drug weighing scales and even loaded guns and didnt do a thing about it. Why was he accusing me of this? I had been working there 4 years and now he was all of a sudden doing this to me? Anyhow. In everytime i have seen any employee accused of theft they were always interegated and usually put on suspension until further notice and then if they were found or admitted to the accusations they usually signed something and possibly had to pay restitution or even arrested. Now I was never called in for anything. Im wondering if thats on my record or will i be able to collect unemployment ? because since my manager was shortly fired after i was. Maybe he was let go because of what he did to me? I dont know? My main concern now is my record and being able to collect unemployment.
