I'm in Iowa. I am so stressed in what I'm going through; however I spose anyone going through this would be. We have no kids, no property; been renting on a farm; only a few things to divide up equally. He won't talk to me, insists to let the attorneys handle everything; says he's dumb when it comes to this kind of stuff. He filed, my attorney and I completed a divorce decree, now they won't look at it until I answer these questions I've never heard about Discovery questions. Wasn't going to answer them; now telling me I have too. Are they required? What happens if I do not? Decree already specified what I think I should get and what he gets. I feel, I was being totally fair, some people told me I was being to fair and to nice; however just want this over, but he insists on dragging it on and costing me more and more in fees. I'm worried that they are trying to trick me into something or something. Just can't understand why they would be pushing so hard for something like this when there shouldn't be much to resolve.

Contact your attorney to help you with this.

I have, at first told me to ignore them, wait and see how they respond to the decree submitted. Now month later, they send a letter, want the questions answered first. My attorney is out today and tomorrow and just worried about it. Was hoping to find out if this type of action is required or they are just throwing something esle in the mix.

Since we don't know the entire background regarding your case, it is in your best interest to wait for your attorney to help you with these questions.
