Discrimination in the workplace?

I work in a very large retail store with a mostly female staff. Yesterday, I was approached by a co-worker who told me that the accidental bumping into each other that happens behind the cash wrap (because it a small work space) was bothering a cashier and making her uncomfortable. More specifically, when I did it it bothered this cashier. When I asked her to clarify because I wasn't understanding why it would bother her ONLY when I did it, she proceeded to tell me that it was because the cashier recently found out that I was gay, and insinuated that she thinks it's sexual when I do it (even though I've been in a committed relationship for six years). Does this qualify as discrimination, and what steps should I take to protect myself?

Discrimination for what? You say you are bumping into this person. This person has taken this as a sexual action whether it is or not. Since no action was taken just be more cautious and let it go.
