Discrimination?

I was recently laid off from my job due to poor economic conditions. 9 months ago, I had an interview scheduled with a very large company that produces a similar product. My company sent a letter to the large company stating that i had signed a contract with a no-compete clause & the interview was cancelled. In the year preceeding my interview, 5 of my fellow employees took similar jobs at this large organization for considerably better pay. I did sign the contract with the clause, but so did the 5 people that already went to work there. Do I have a case here?
 
It depends on why you were alledgely discriminated against. If its because you belong to a protected class then yes. Provong this can be very diificult
