My mom is going through a divorce. She has filed for divorce but has not been to the court date. My step-father has stopped paying for his vehicle after they split up. My mom recieved a letter today that his truck was repossessed. Her name is on the car because they bought it when they were still together. Is there any way she can get this off her credit record or dispute this.?

Nope. If payments were not made she is responsible. She could have taken the vehicle but regardless, if payments are not made, the vehicle can and will be re-poed.

While we are on the subject of divorce agreement. Can anyone give me advise on this?

My Fiance was divorced almost a year ago. In the divorce decreed stated that his ex get a fix amount out of the proceed of the sale of their house. He is letting her stay there and he pay for the mortgage and utilities to help her get back on her feet until the house is sold. Things are getting really tough with him right now that he is thinking about foreclosure on the house and she still think she should still get that amount weather he sell or not. She even threat to go back to court if she has too, does she have a leg to stand on?
