I married my husband in Dec. of 2003 and soon after returned to my duty station in Colorado my husband was soon there after assigned his duty station in Kentucky needless to say we never lived together and have absolutly nothing together. I have not spoken to this man in close to 4years, we are still married and both are now out of the military. I have absolutly no way of contacting him to get a divorce. Will not knowing where he is make my divorce harder to get?

Yes. You must attempt to locate your husband to properly serve him with divorce papers. You might have to put an ad in a newspaper or something. You really should contact an attorney.

Ok that's kinda what I thought, I've heard about putting a ad in the newspaper but I don't have even the slightest Idea what state he is in, so I'm not sure that would be very helpful. Well Thanks for your advice I guess I'll figure something out.

Do you know the state where his family lives (parents/siblings), or the one he enlisted in? That might be the best place to start with newspaper adds. Also maybe the one he returned to when he was discharged from the service? Some people stay in the town where they are discharged from or he may have friends who see his name in the paper and contact him.
