Do I have a case and what can I do?

My son who has mental health issues was being transported to a hospital in an ambulance jumped out and injured himself. He was not strapped down or sedated and the paramedic was not watching him when he unbuckled himself from the seatbelt. My son is 35 years old.

You can talk to a local attorney. A 35 year old person (although he's your son), unless you're his guardian, you have no legal standing. If he was killed during his escape, maybe. See a couple local lawyers, or make some phone calls.

"Possibly" but I don't see a definite case based just on what you posted. However, you can certainly run it by a couple of lawyers for their opinions. You need someone you can give complete details to.

Before you get to "does he have a case" did he suffer any real damages?
