Do I have a case?

I met a girl online about four years ago. We had been good friends for those couple of years talking online and over the phone. Well, recently, we started online/phone dating and her and I had made arrangements to meet. Well her birthday was last week and I got her a fairly expensive gift due to the situation also in the past I had sent her money and bought her food for various reasons. She never showed up when we were supposed to meet and started ignoring me almost immediately after I had sent her the gift for her birthday. She won't return my phone calls or respond to my texts she answered last night and said she did it because she doesn't care. She answered today when I tried to get more information and said if I don't stop calling she is going to go to the police and file phone harassment charges against me. Can I sue her for scamming or something to do with false pretenses? Please help.

Can you prove to the courts that she was scamming you? Or that she was misrepresenting herself during these four years? You seem to have willingly given her everything you describe on the post and your post doesn't indicate that she was pressuring you to do that. Unless you can prove otherwise, the only case you have here is that of a broken heart. Good Luck to you!

I don't have any proof, all the proof that I ever had is deleted as I had never thought something like this would happen. Either way, thanks for your advice.
