I purchased a pool liner and installation from a local pool supply place at the begining of this year. After the sale we were given a number to contact an installer to set a date. After several attempts to contact the person, We were told it couldn't be installed until August of this year. I contacted a second pool supplier in our area and told them I would be willing to switch if they could guarentee it would be installed the week before my wedding. They did and I purchased it from them and had my money returned from the first pool supplier. That was May of this year. I continued to call as the date neared and they assured me it would be installed. I needed it installed because the rehearsal dinner was at my house in the yard. The date passed, and the day before the dinner they came out to install and told me that the sand under the old liner felt wet and it couldn't be intalled. The installer's crew then cut the old liner out and dumped an inch of rain water in the sand under the old liner. ( I told them there was water in the bottom of the pool before they came out as it had rained a few times, and they said no problem they had a pump to take it out)That created huge puddles in the sand instead of it just being damp. I called to complain to the head installer and he said I would have to dig holes under the pool and drain the water out let it dry a couple of hours and call him back, they would came back and install it if he had to dump a ton of sand in the bottom to make it work he would. ( I have never met this person ony the crew he working for him)They came out on the morning of my rehearsal to install saw the water left by the rain and said they couldn't do it, even though they had sand in the truck. I called the installer and complained that he said he would make it right and he needed to do it. My husband called him and said he was told it had to be done what was the worst care senerio if the liner was installed, and was told there would be foot prints around the perimiter of the pool where he walked. My husband said fine I can live with that install it. But much to our supprise when they were done there was a huge air bubble of liner all the way around the center to the top of the pool, the installer said it was normal and would go away when the water was put in. We had the water put in and it left a huge swirl of liner in the middle and a 3 inch piece of liner sticking up off the bottom. I called the installer right away and left a message on his phone, I continued to call with no call back. I called the pool supply place that I purchased the liner and labor from and filed a complaint I have had another installer from the same company come out and look at the pool and stated it was installed wrong and needed to be fixed. I just had someone from the pool supply place call me last Thursday told me to drain the pool they were comming to fix it on Wendsday this week. So I did, now I got a call from the owner Tuesday of this week saying they arn't replacing the water but will do the repair. I have already drained the water on their instruction now they say they arn't replacing it! Not to mention I can't afford to replace the water, I have been dealing with this for 5 months it keeps getting worse! Please help!
