Do i have a lawsuit

I asked if I could get another day off for late night than Wednesday because I am a minister and we have church on wednesday night. I was verbally remanded for asking. When my manager came back and asked me if the wednesday night was resovled, i said that I would do my job until I found another one and I was immediately fired. Can I file for wrongful termination?

No, since you were not wrongfully terminated. They were not legally obligated to give you the time off; the fact that you have a second job as a minister is not their concern.

You should never tell an employer that you are looking for another job unless you are prepared to be let go immediately. They are also not legally obligated to keep on an employee who has indicated that they are only there for the short term.
