I Recently Bought A 1992 Mustang, The Man Advertised It In The Paper As A 1992 Gt With A 5.0 And Signed A Milage Claim That It Had 153,000 Miles. So I Paid Cash For The Car. I Started Ordering Dress Up Stuff And Found That It Wasn't A 1992 Gt And The Car Came With A 2.3 4-cyl Not A 5.0 Which Make A Huge Difference On Value. So Now I Have A Car That Is Worth Half What I Paid. What Can I Do??

First did you contact the buyer and try to resolve this with him? If you did, I hope you have documented proof of your discussions, like letters you wrote and mailed returned receipts, or emails, or a witness. How did you not know this when you bought the car? That will be the second question a court asks you. If you can satisfactorily answer this question, then, you may have a case in small claims for the difference in money you paid and the actual value of the car you bought. Get the blue book price for both, make sure the condition you choose is the correct condition for the value of the car, take pictures of your car and the car you thought you were getting and maybe an expert witness who knows cars to testify on your behalf in small calims. Also, make sure your contract and advertisement states the same as the claims you are making.
