I have been living with a man for almost 17 years, 14 of those years in FL and the other 3 in NC. We have introduced each other as our husband or wife all that time. I quit work 10 years ago so we could do a lot of traveling.
He informed me 2 weeks ago that he no longer loved me and thought we should go our separate ways.
Since then, I have moved into an RV park,as he gave me title to a 2003 RV.
He is in our dream home which is up for sale. He has given me the RV to live in year round and i have it set up. It will be extremely cold and expensive to keep warm in the winter. I take allergy shots that cost $200 a month
I have $1,076 a month coming in with Social Security and at this time that's my only income. I will get a modest amount (less than $20,000 when my Mom dies) and I have some money in TIAA that I can collect at age 65.
What I would like to know is do I have any chance of being able to obtain a modest amount of support each month, as until now my spending money for expenses was unlimited. He is very well off financially.
Thank you all for any advice you may have.

Neither Florida nor North Carolina recognize common-law marriage, unless it was previously established in a state that does allow it. So, unfortunately he has no obligation to support you.

When you do not marry a man, you lose almost all rights. Neither state recognizes common law so you are totally out of luck. You should have had him marry you. When you stay with a man that long without marriage, you lose a lot of rights.
