Do the fee's for the attorney of estate get taken out before the final account?

:no: Is it right to use the estate value when it was opened, instead of using the final account value to figure out the amount of the fee's owed to the attorney at the closing.? ,,,,
If all the assets are in the stock market, does the attorney get to sell these stocks and cash them into his account, and then wait four months to use that money to pay himself?
 
I'm not sure what you mean by "final account value" or what happened with these stocks.

I believe proper accounting dictates that the figure used to calculate the attorney's fees should be the cash proceeds realized when the stock was sold.
