I just received a summons from a Lawyer representing a hospital that I went to back in 2004. I was sent to the emergency room by someone and turned around and took them to court. They were court ordered to pay my medical bills but they didnt. Know the Lawyers and hospital are telling me it doesnt matter what they were ordered to do I am responsibly for the bill and I must pay. Does this sound right or are they trying to force me to pay?

That's not an either/or situation. It IS right, and they ARE trying to force you to pay.

The court's order that the person who sent you to the ER (call him/her X) must pay your bill is binding on X. It has nothing to do with the hospital. They performed a service for you, and they are entitled to be paid. If X doesn't follow the court order, you have to pay. You are entitled to try to collect the cost of paying the bill from X.
