I want to know if I'm on felony probation in one county where I just caught my second petty theft charge and will probably face prision time if I show up at court, but take off for a couple years in a county far away until I'm suppost to be off probation in 2015, can I come back and deal with what would be an old outstanding petty theft warrant by then without the harsh extras probTion would of had to go along with it? It was a mistemenor citation but I know they are gonna try and bump it up to a felony because I have a prior. Does probation ever max out? Or will they be waiting for me forever. I know its not a smart move so spare me the lecture I just wanna know I have three kids I'm the only one they have I can't go to jail right now.

You have a problem. You can run, but you can't hide.

By now, or very soon, they'll connect the dots. The county holding the new charge, will run your arrest data. It'll be cross matched, and they'll notify your PO.

You know what you are required to do, while on probation. If you fail to do it, you'll be revoked. A warrant will issue, and one day when you least expect it, you'll be arrested.

Nope, there is no way this will be forgotten or forgiven. You can run, you can hide, but not forever. Not these days, the computer system (NCIC) is too good.

Don't compound the problem, try to fix it. You are innocent, until proven guilty on your new charge. If I were you, I'd report everything to my PO. He or she probably knows anyway.

You will also accumulate another offense for failure to appear in court.
It does not matter that your probation will have expired in 2015. You were on probation when you committed the offense. When you fail to appear your probation would likely be extended along with your new arrest warrant.
