Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Does it make a big difference if your a acessory?

Well I was wondering my friend stole something and I was with her, and I got charged as an accessory, would the punishments be equal or different. Both juveniles and both have clean records? Also my friend met with someone lady who you have to see and told her I told her to do it, Is that bad?

The options for punishment are same. However if one of your Attorneys works a deal with DA and other does not sentence could be different
