Does VA or FL offer better alimony?

I am a paralyzed female; functional and can take care of myself and 2 kids with the help of my 16 year-old. We have houses in both Florida and Virginia. Both are legal residences. I'm not sure where to file for divorce. Is one state better than the other for alimony? I would like to file where I have better chances of receiving sufficient alimony and child support. I know some states favor women in divorces (such as CA), but I'm unsure about VA and FL. Could someone give me advise as to where I should file (VA or FL) in order for me to have a greater chance of getting a very good alimony and custody of both kids.

You file where the kids live. Is your spouse going to allow you to take off with the kids to leave to another state? You'll have to google the state's guidelines each for VA and FL and see what they say. I do not see how CA favors women in divorce, the state uses both parents incomes.
