what responsibility does dog resuce place have before adopting out dog... ie got dog home and became very aggressive to people who came to the door ..... this was never disclosed .. and do they not have a responsibility to ensure the safety of adoptees and training of animal so safely adopted ?

Generally, dog rescues have limited exposure to the behavior an animal will exhibit when attempting to establish new territory. As a dog owner, you should be careful to gradually work the animal into its new environment to avoid territorial confusion.
