Me and my husband had a tad of an incident back in May. He is a lifer on parole and I went to the cops about it. It wasnt anything serious just a bit of a bad attitude on my part. Anyways he is being charged with assault (for flicking his smoke and it hit my sweater, no injuries dont even think it was intentional.) and stealing my laptop so theft under 5000 (was actually his laptop and the receipts are here to prove it) and anyways its a dumb scenario and since hes a lifer they are totally going overboard by saying no contact after i have grovelled that it was my mistake and it should have never got this far and refuse to vary the bail conditions, we have 2 small children together 2yrs and 1 yr and the 2yr old has heart problems and has to go to the hospital for sick kids in toronto to get possibly a scheduling and I think he really needs to be there as she needs him there and he always was there for her...any ideas of how i might propose this to the crown? His trial isnt till march 2010 and her appointment is oct 2nd....help!! Not only that but why are they being so nasty over such a minor thing? I mean its just so stupid we have no history of violence in our relationship or anything and he has never hurt a woman or a child...what can i do about being treated so unfairly? We need him all I know is I will never rely on canadian officials for anything but a mess if i need to make one....never again.
