Assault & Battery Domestic violence by my brother

my brotehr he had hit my mother and i with a pinroller i think he did it out of anger and i think he has anger problem he can't control him self when he is angry. he always worried about his past and talk about it. my dad died 7 yearsold he still misses him. i think he can't get over his past. i have question when i go to the court should i say to teh judge taht he is depressed or what sould i asy because had being like this for two years if you talk back to him he willl would get anger and can't control. i am just worried what should i say in court because i don't if he hates me or not but after allhe is my brother.

I wouldn't worry about why he's angry.

I wouldn't worry about him.

I'd worry about him KILLING you or mom.

Tell the judge EXACTLY what he did, don't try to protect him or get him off.

Don't allow him back into your home, tell the judge you'd like an order of protection to keep him away form you.

Mom should ask for one, too.

He needs help, so you might tell his lawyer what you said here, and ask him to see that he gets help.
