My question involves real estate located in the State of: Georgia
I have searched and inquired about this and cannot find an answer. I own a single family home which I reside in at the moment. I may rent the entire home out or I may just get a couple of roommates. I want to install double cylinder deadbolt locks on my exterior french doors and on my front door which has a glass side panel. I hear that in some states these types of locks are illegal for rentals because it can hinder escape incase of emergency. I cannot find any information on Georgia however. Can someone point me in the right direction? What does Georgia law say?
