driving on revoke license

Is it A felony on first offense of driving on no license?

It's not a felony, buddy, but its an arrestable offense. You get popped in Illinois for DWL you're going to get arrested, booked, and be required to post bail to get out, or wait to see if a judge will ROR you.

Be very careful, because each time you get caught breaking this law of theirs, you're upping the ante against yourself. Be smart, don't ever drive in any jurisdiction without a valid license. As expensive as you believe a taxi to be, breaking their laws is much more expensive.

First offenses for driving without a driver's license can result in jail time. Multiple offenses can result in extended jail time, even if not deemed a felony crime. So they aren't as serious as felony crimes but the impact can certainly be far more than a slap on the wrist and a criminal record.
