Driving while under suspension. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

In sept of 11 I was stopped and cited for a speeding ticked. I was not quick to get it paid off because im a father of 3 and money was tight. A constable told me i had to make payment arrangements or a warrant would be issued. The following day I went to the magistrate to set up a payment plan. When I got there the lady said the warrant was already issued. So I came up with the money and paid it before a suspension would be issued. Several months later in Jan of 12 I was taking a lady to the police office because she had her purse stolen. As I was sitting there big brother decided to run my plates and told me my license was suspended. Shocked I told him I paid the ticked and i should be cleared. He went on to tell me of the restoration fee of $25 and this happens all the time. He told me he shouldn't do this and let me go and told me to take care of it (i was off with a warning right??) This all happened in a different county im in now. I moved 2hrs away and in march of 12 i received a citation in the mail for $300 for driving without a license. Now im enrolled in a CDL training class i enlisted in Feb of 12 so i just pay the $300 so i dont get in anymore hot water. Later than a week I get a letter stating my license will be suspended for a year starting APril of 12. Now if my license gets suspended I get kicked out of school. Im going to appeal, and frankly feel I should have never been cited for DWL. WHAT CAN I DO????

An appeal is your only hope.
You might try and get the money to hire a lawyer.
But, yiuncan speak to most lawyers for free during the initial consultation.
That allows you to ask questions and find out if there is any hope at avoiding the one year loss of license.
