Duped into signing a letter of resignation

My jurisdiction is: Missouri

I was injured on the job and was about to lose everything I had when the company told me they would settle the lawsuit I had against them if I would sign a letter of resignation. I did this but it was all in haste. Is there anyway I can fight to get my old job and senority back or am I just S O L.

Actually, it is not at all unusual for a settlement to include the resignation of the employee.
