I own a business in Ohio that switched electric to a third party company. That company misrepresented how billing would be handled which led me to late payments and then they terminated contract early. They are now harassing me for early termination fees and threatening legal action. The only way they will waive is when I pay amount due and sign a new 2 year contract. I find it incredible that they would even want me as a consumer since they canceled me. Am I required by law to pay the termination fee?
