Easement issues

State is Texas.

I've owned a landlocked property for about 10 years. I have a properly recorded access and utility easement for a road that goes about 3/4 of a mile from a county road back to my property. My easement requires that I maintain the road, gates, and fences along that road. The easement allows access for the property owner, heirs, and assigns.

Recently, the ranch that my access sits on top of was sold, and my life got a lot more complicated.

The first thing that the new land owner did was reroute all the oil field traffic that crossed his property at a different point onto my road. Now he has constructed a large gate on my easement (I still have access) and put his name in large letters on the cross bar. He pulled up my gate, a substantial part of the fences along the easement, and added additional roads off my easement so the oil field traffic can have access to the wells.

He hasn't sent me any paperwork or other notification, but he supposedly did sign an agreement with the oil company that they should now maintain the road.

My questions are:
Can he reroute the 18-wheeler oil field trucks on my road just because he owns the property?
Can he rip up my gate and fences that I was required to put on the easement?
Can he in essence add an easement on top of mine?
Do I have to have his name on my gate or could I also add mine or force him to remove his?

Thanks for your help! I'm at wits end.
