I own a duplex that has an easement with a block of stores. The land belongs to the owners of the block. The easement allows me acess to my garage in the back. My problem is that I can't get to my property freely because of the people that lease the stores. They would park their vehicles blocking me in or out of my property. I have asked them many times to please move and that I have a easement to "pass and repass". This would work for about a week them it all start over again. From what I found out is that the easement area (alleyway) is used as an loading area only for the stores, however some store owners have used it as their own parking area. This denies me to "pass and repass" as what is stated on my deed. I'm about to send the owners of the block a letter explaning my problem in hopes they can help. Is this the only couse of action I have? If not what are my other options?
Thanks
