I sold a diamond on ebay for 8,602.00 the buyer got the diamond with cert. and the made a claim against me saying that it was not as described and so PayPal made him send it back and when I got the package it was a class thing in the shape of a diamond and not even the certification with it or any of the other paperwork that I sent to the buyerand he got a full refund and he also still has the diamond and certification and paperwork that I sent to him what do I need to do

If the buyer is out of your state, you'll have to sue him in his state.
He'll probably lie and say you sent him junk.
You'll claim you sent him the real deal.
The site owner, eBay, in their wisdom; refunded him his money.

Yes, it looks like you've been had.
The buyer has outscammed and outconned the seller.

Its time for you to close up shop and stop selling expensive stuff on eBay.
As you've recently discovered, its too darn easy for you to be scammed.
There's just no way for you to prove that you put the real deal in the box, and not the junk.

The business model is flawed for expensive goods.
Better close up shop and start selling junk, no more real deal, expensive stuff through eBay.
I suspect there will soon be a slew of these kinds of scams.

Agree that probably the only way now that you "might" get your money back is to sue. That was an expensive diamond to be selling on e-bay.
