My husband was trained by the Electricians Union. He was under contract to complete 5 years of service in the union to repay for his training. Recently he left the union to work for a company as an electronics technician. With in this company he receives training to meet his current job description. He is not allowed to do an electrician's job. The Union has since asked us to repay. We sent an appeal. It was denied. Please let me know what happens or what to do next?

Read the contract. The rights and remedies are there and are most important. What was the basis for your appeal? Why did he leave knowing he didn't repay the training? This is the essence of your dispute.
