If a family member has embelzzeld funds from their parents account, but has made arrangements with their parents to pay back those funds witihin two weeks can any other action be taken on the emellezzer.

The term is "embezzlement". Why do you call it that? Embezzlement is a specific criminal offence with specific elements.

In answer to your question, I suppose the parents could press criminal charges. I don't know why they'd do that if they'd already agreed to an arrangement, but they'd be within their rights to do so.

the family member has re-mortgaged the house and has been approved, and in the meantime to protect the parents, if should anything happen the the family member she has signed over her life insurancce policy to the parents, naming them as 100% beneficiaries, is there anything else that this family should do. The closing on the refinance of the mortgage is August 25th, in the amount of $33,000.00 for which is owed. After this is paid in full, will the family member still face any prosecution.
