I work for a financial institution and recently discovered my employer investigated my bank accounts. Apparently my supervisor received a phone call from a collector and did not tell me. Instead he contacted our Internal audit department and they investigated my checking account and my loans at the bank. Can they legally review my dda? I am so annoyed they did not tell me my rights were violated when the collector called my place of employment and discussed my account with my supervisor. Of course they found nothing in the investigation because I did nothing wrong. I am so embarrassed and infuriated right now.

No, when you work for a financial Inst. your account gets audited every year whether you know it or not -- they look @ the employees files before any other files. That collector calling put a red-flag on your account that is normal protocol really
