is there any law/regulation that protects emplyees' safety in this regard?
situation: my gf works late. the management turned off all lightings in the parking to save a few dollars, which makes it unsafe to leave at night, 11pm-12am. who should i write a letter to? the store or Corporate if she doesnt want to confront it in person due to fear of getting fire? I want to sight a regulation in my letter to let the employer know that their practice is "illegal?", but not sure what i should sight. I went to the division of occupational safety and health at the .gov site, but there isnt a regulation that I could find. all the site states is I can file a complaint w/ CalOSHA.
since I cant post a link and just in case u want to see the site: it is <<<<<< dir.ca.gov/dosh/calOSHAemployeerights. (html)>>>>> hope im not breaking the rule here. my apology if i am. i believe the purpose is so ppl wouldnt spam. this link isnt a spam.
any help would be great. thanks love love love this site. !!!!:dgrin
