I am 8 months preg now and work in a warehouse. Upon turning 7 months pregnant....I was finding it difficult as I couldnt lift the heavy materials. I would get bad back pains if i sat or stood too much, migraines, dizzyness at times, and lots of cramping along with stomache pains and swollen feet/ankles and leg pain. because of these things I was finding it hard to stay at work. Along with the other employees making the work environment extremely stressful. as i could not run around and do as i have done before. I spoke to my doctor about all my problems and was put on leave. all of a sudden 30 days into my leave i was called by the people that handle claims for my company and told i must return to work tomorrow and work up until the day i deliver (dec 27th). when i tried to call someone... no one answered.they just called and left a message stating that my doctor signed a release for me to return to work and i have to be in tomorrow with the same restrictions i left with. bear in mind. they have no desk jobs for me and i must sit on a fork truck all day bouncing around for 8 hours and getting bumped and almost run into by other drivers. which makes my back and stomache pains worse. all other positions are not safe at my location. and i have been told there is nothing else for me to do. i kept calling and finally reached someone. I was told that no where in their system did they have notes that my doc released me to go back to work. ( couldnt confirm that my doc did or did not do this as her office is closed) that i find impossible as she has already wrote me a release from work until 6-8 weeks after deliver because of the problems and risk of preterm birth. what do i do? going back to work makes it difficult for me to function at home as there were times where i could hardly walk because of the cramping etc thru out the day and at the end of the day. can they just tell me to go back to work til i deliver after my doc has told them no? they even insisted on all my medical records for their doctor to review.can they do that? they have been so rude to myself and my doctor. what can i do?

Absolutely not. Contact your local EEOC office ASAP. Your employer, much like mine, is using a 3rd party entity to come back and tell you that you are not disabled. One such group is Reed Group out of New York.
Do not release any of your private medical info without first consulting with an employment law atty. Most will provide free consultations.
