Where I work(MAJOR AUTO PARTS SUPPLIER THAT STARTS WITH A "N") we have opportunities to make a small bonus by taking on-line training classes and taking tests after completing the lessons. I was told today I had been paid for a test that supposedly did not qualify for the bonus.I received the bonus two pay periods ago, now the supervisor in our payroll department has called me wanting to know how I want to have this money deducted from my next pay check(s). Can they do this without me authorizing any further action on this matter ?

thanks,
BR

Before I go any further with this, let me ask you a question.

Do you agree, or disagree, that the bonus was paid in error?

All I have been told since I started with this company was take as many on-line courses as possible and you will get "x" amount of money for "EACH" completed and passed test you take. So in answering your question I disagree that the bonus was paid in error.

Thanks,
BR
