I signed an employment agreement in July of 2007. The Co. for who I signed this agreement with has two different agreement forms. ne is for their Vendors who supply them with products. This is the Vendor agreement.
They have a separate agreement for sales people they hire as employees.
This is called a "NON COMPETE AGREEMENT for SALESPERSONS".
The agreement they had me sign was for the Vendors, for which I was not.
The agreement also does not state a non compete time frame (such as 2 yrs) after employment with them. It also does not state a geographical area of any kind.
Is the agreement I signed binding where the employer can come after me?
