When I sold my business four years ago I had to sign a non-compete clause and I asked for an employment contract to run concurrent with the non-compete. The company I work for was purchased by another last month and today I was informed that the new company does not honor employment contracts and they want to cut my salary in half. There is still 10 months remaining on the five year employment contract. Can a contract become non-binding in this situation. I'm not sure wether to fight this or not.
