In a fixed term agreement till June. Have got masses of damp in bedrooms, toilet & living room. Living room is also in a bad state of decoration, has been since we moved in, have complained a few times. Partner just found all her clothes & shoes have been damaged by mould in her wardrobe. We have to move out now! Have been given the opportunity to rent a house from family. Where do we stand with the tenancy? We have offered a months notice, but the agent saying we will have to pay till june? Surely they have breached their own contract by not rectifying the problems we have told them about. Please, any advice would be helpful.

UK landlord tenant laws are likely different than what we have here in the US.

You need to review these laws in terms of what you must do to cover all bases in your attempt to justify breaking the lease early. It is always good to get requests for repairs IN WRITING so you have documentation of such.
