I want to get some legal advice and guidance on my rights to the contract attached.

I held a private event and hired 4 entertainers for the event. At the last minute I had to cancel one of the entertainers. The contract states that if you cancel on the day of you are responsible for the balance. I understand that part, but it also states that there is a rescheduling fee that you could pay also. The manager for the entertainer contacted me 1 time after I cancelled and I never heard from her again until today.

I have been trying to figure out some alternative actions to resolve this matter for both of us. She has threaten to sue me for the money, plus the administrative court fees and all the money that he could have made that night since I canceled him. My course of action since the contract states that a rescheduling fee is allowed and there is not limitation or date wherein you have to reschedule, is to pay the reschedule fee and rebook him for another date. She said no I could not do that (even though it doesn't state that in the contract) and he just wants his money.

She goes on in her email to say this is not the way to run a business and my reputation being ruined. When infact after I canceled his part of the event, he had actually contacted the other dancers and advised them that the event I was having was canceled which sabotaged my event altogether.

Wanted to know if this was worth going to court over, pay the balance or advise the manager that I have the right to reschedule as stated in the contract?

You have misunderstood the contract wording. It stipulates, "If the event is rescheduled, there is a $25.00 rescheduling fee". That means that if you request a rescheduling prior to the day of the event you may do so with an additional charge of $25.00.

You, though, cancelled on the day of the event. The contract stipulates, "If the event is cancelled on the day of the event, the client is responsible for the full booking fee".

Pay the balance and be done with it.

Yep... by canceling on the day of you essentially caused that person to lose money because they could not schedule anything else during that time, whether you rescheduled or not.
You are on the hook for the full bill, and they will likely win if it goes to court. Pay up.
