Is Mesa, AZ, can one be evicted if you are not on the lease but your spouse is?

You'll have to research the landlord tenant laws in AZ but I suspect that if somebody is there and will not be added to the lease, yes I think you can be evicted. Generally the landlord wants all parties living there on the lease so he can hold either accountable for rent and other damages. Is there any reason why this spouse is not on the lease?
