My ex-girlfriend is sueing me for allergedly threatening to publish nude photos of her which she gave to me during our relationship, i think she wants my laptop seized and she is also sueing me for half of the cost of a camera which she claims to have contributed to buy. she claims to have proof of my threat and proof that I once admitted to her contribution, I may have said some things during some of our heated arguments. I'd like to know if she has a strong case and if i'll do jail time or have criminal records if i lose the case. she also said they would arrest me when i'm served and post bail and if i can't afford to pay the bail or get my parents to pay it they would make me sit in jail till the court date, is this true? i'm still trying to get her to settle out of court.. but i dont know how hard i should try.

Did you receive papers in the mail? I don't know if anything you have done is criminal from your post. Did you post the photos on-line? Did you blackmail her with the photos? Does she have the proof? Email, taped phone conversations, letters...what do you think she has? Being sued and criminal charges are two different things. Give the photos back, mail them certified, return receipt.
