ex hasn't paid child support or seen the children in almost a year

As stated in the title, my ex hasn't paid child support or seen the kids in almost a year. I know he could lose his parental rights if the courts feel that is best....fine with me. My question is, how long in the state of Colorado does this have to go on for that to happen?

Failure to pay child support does not have anything to do with retaining or losing one's parental rights.

One is under no obligation to exercise visitation, and failure to exercise visitation doesn't have anything to do with losing parental rights.

You can work with the state authorities in Colorado to pursue court ordered child support be paid to you.
