We moved into this condo with the lease starting march 1,2009. he left me for another woman and both our names are on our lease which also states i am on disability and he has themajority of the income. He said and sent in email he would pay half the rent and the utlilities until the lease is up but has not paid anything and has left me to pay everything. I went on disability early at his request and left my previous apartment before my lease was up so we could have a bigger place but still had to pay rent for that place for march, april and may. now that he has moved he has not paid anything and the owners are threatening eviction. I would like to sue for his half for the remainder of the lease as well as half of the bills as promised. do I have a chance? also what if he avoids service? because he has avoided service on other occasions.
