My boyfriend and I (no my ex husband) decided to get married and was in Iowa with him at the time my father wanted the wedding to take place in Nevada so he told my boyfriend if he wanted to marry me he'd have to send the money for the preparation of the wedding he sent my father 4,000 to his bank account we got married and 3 weeks later we decided it wasn't working out so we seperated now he is suing my dad for the 4,000 there was no argrement that my father was supposed to pay him back. Anyway since my father lives in Nevada I and my ex husband lives in Iowa I thought Iowa didn't have jurisdiction over the case. My father sent an answer already saying he denied the claim. But I wish he attached a letter saying it was because Iowa didn't have personal jurisdiction on him. What can he do now just wait for a reply from the judge?
