My fiance and I signed a land contract agreement on a house 4 years ago. He has failed to fulfill his financial obligations over 3/4 of the last 4 years. I have covered his expenses, 100% of the bills, food, etc.. with the promise that he would repay everything. We got behind on the house payment in 2007 when I lost my job. He had just started working and was supposed to cover the payment, but ran back to mommy's after an arguement without paying. He came back 1 month later and 2 payments behind. The owner was kind enough to wait it out without evicting me and the kids. I got an inheritence from my grandparents that allowed me to continue paying the bills. He's done this to me many times and has yet to make an attempt at paying me or the past due house payments.
His lack of financial support while continuing to live in the home, has forced me to cover the living expenses alone to avoid eviction or utility disconnections. My credit is shot because I've had to try and stretch my money. I had to let certain debts go unpaid in order to barely keep current. I'm owed more than $10,000 by him over the last 4 years. I have W2's to prove I've worked, bank statements showing money in and bills out. He has not filed taxes in 2 years, has no bank information, or proof of income. He is now working with good pay. Can I sue him for all the money he owes? I want to garnish his wages for the entire amount he owes. What do I need as proof that I've paid his obligations?
Please, Please help!!
